Positions Itself for the Next 10 Years of Global Growth
MIAMI, FL and BOULDER, CO, Oct. 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - Crispin Porter + Bogusky, a member of the MDC Partners network, announced several significant promotions today. Andrew Keller has been promoted to CEO, Jeff Steinhour has been promoted to President, and Rob Reilly has been named Worldwide Chief Creative Officer. Current CEO Jeff Hicks moves up to the role of Vice Chairman.
"We've had a lot of success growing our own leaders," said Chuck Porter, who will continue in his role as agency Chairman. "Andrew, Jeff and Rob have all been instrumental in the growth and success of the agency. In a lot of ways, they've already been doing the jobs, we're just making it official with the titles. I've always believed in finding the smartest people you can - people you don't manage, you just uncork." Porter continued, "It started with Alex Bogusky, Jeff Steinhour and Jeff Hicks, and today we have 12 agency partners who have been here an average of eleven years. They got us where we are and they know where we're going. I don't know if this is a defining moment in the agency's history, but I know that we're using creativity and innovation to generate more positive business results for our clients than ever before and we're looking at a pretty dramatic expansion globally. If I could pick anyone in the world to lead CP+B going forward, it would be Andrew and this team."
Andrew Keller who had held the position of Co-Chief Creative Officer alongside Rob Reilly, is a long time partner at the agency and renowned creative director. In his new role he will focus on the vision and growth of the agency as it continues it's global expansion as well as continuing to impact the creative product. Jeff Steinhour will work closely with Andrew handling the day-to-day operations of the agency and overseeing client management. Rob Reilly moves to the position of Worldwide Chief Creative Officer, where he will be responsible for the creative excellence of the agency.
In his new role as Vice Chairman, Jeff Hicks will be actively involved with key clients and with the agency's strategic focus and growth. In addition, he will work on special projects for MDC Partners, as well as joint ventures between the agency and private equity firms, exploring opportunities for CP+B to own and market their own brands.
"Historically CP+B has been very much a creatively driven agency," said Jeff Hicks. "Chuck was originally our creative director, I took over from him as President and CEO, and it feels right that our new CEO should be a creative. This creates a strong balance of power with the leadership of Andrew Keller and Jeff Steinhour."
"It's impossible to know what the advertising industry will be like in 10 years, but you can be sure CP+B will be at the forefront of it, making brands outrageously successful by any means possible," said Andrew Keller.
