SALT LAKE CITY, Sept. 20, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- C.R. England, a Salt Lake City-based global transportation provider, has recognized Independent Contractors Benjamin Barnett and Harold Blan as IC Drivers of the Month for August 2012.

Barnett has been driving for C.R. England for 13 months in the National Division. His driver manager says he can be trusted to always pick up and deliver loads on time. He has recently completed advanced driver training and is now training new recruits, teaching them to take pride in the business and to focus on safety and service. He makes his home in Greensboro, GA and enjoys water skiing and motor sports when not on the road. He is a "Top Gun" award winner, achieving this honor for receiving the highest scores among his classmates. Prior to becoming a driver, Ben managed a warehouse for 14 years.
Blan is an independent contractor driving in the National Division. He has been handling loads for C.R. England for two and a half years and is recognized for his focus on safety, service and security for all his loads. He has excellent communication skills and has been a true asset to the division. Blan lives in Prineville, OR and enjoys reading, snowboarding and fishing. He served four years in the U.S. Air Force and worked in construction for more than 20 years.
