SALT LAKE CITY, May 8, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Chad England, Chief Executive Officer of C.R. England, one of North America's largest transportation companies, has announced the promotion of Brandon Harrison and Zach England, two current members of the company's executive committee, to the positions of Chief Operating Officers. Harrison will oversee National, Regional, and Mexico Divisions and Safety. England will oversee Dedicated and Intermodal Operations and serve as Chairman of the Board of England Logistics, a third-party logistics company and wholly owned subsidiary of C.R. England.

Brandon Harrison was most recently President, National and Regional Divisions. Mr. Harrison has been with the company since 2003, serving in a number of roles including Operations Manager, Senior Operations Manager of the Dedicated Division, Director of National Fleet Operations and Vice President, OTR.
In his previous role, Mr. Harrison was responsible for the five business segments within the National and Regional divisions; Fleet Management, Customer Service, Inside Sales, Load Planning and Optimization and Network Development. Under his direction, his team maintained and managed over-the-road operations and he was responsible for management of the profitability for each of those business segments.
Prior to joining C.R. England, Mr. Harrison was an entrepreneur in the real estate industry, creating a property acquisition firm. Mr. Harrison holds a BS in Business Administration from Westminster College in Salt Lake City, UT.
Zach England is a great-grandson of founder Chester R. England. England was promoted from the position of President, Dedicated Division. He has worked in a variety of positions for the privately-owned family company throughout his college years and started full-time in 2004 with England Logistics. In his role at England Logistics, he created and set the foundation for England Carrier Services; a division that provides reliable and cost-effective services to small carriers.
In 2007, Mr. England moved into the role of Vice President, Intermodal where he oversaw the sales and operation force of the Intermodal Division. Mr. England has been a powerful force in the Intermodal Division as he executed the company's expansion from trailer on flatcar (TOFC) to container on flatcar (COFC) technology. The refrigerated COFC technology was a significant step for C.R. England as it represented the largest introduction of this new innovation to the transportation industry.
In December 2011, Mr. England was named Vice President, Dedicated and in August 2012 to the role of President of that division. Mr. England received his BS in finance from the University of Utah and his MBA from Rice University.
