C.R. England Reorganizes Senior Leadership
SALT LAKE CITY, April 30, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Dan England, Chairman of C.R. England, one of North America's largest transportation companies, has announced a reorganization and new titles for members of the senior leadership team. The reorganization comes as a result of the death of former CEO Wayne Cederholm on April 9, 2013.

Dean England, formerly company President will now hold the title of Co-Chairman. Chad England, formerly Chief Operating Officer, will assume the title and responsibility of Chief Executive Officer. Josh England, Chief Financial Officer, will take on the added title and duties of President.

Co-Chairman Dean England, true to family tradition, has worked at every level of the company. At an early age he traveled with his father Gene England on cross-country long hauls. He has worked for the company as a Freight Handler, Truck Washer, Maintenance Manager, Terminal Manager, Operations Manager, Director of Operations, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Executive Officer and President prior to assuming his new duties.
Dean graduated from the University of Utah in 1978 with a degree in finance and continues to be a strong advocate of the University's academic and athletic programs. He has also served on various industry and community boards including the Board of Directors of the Utah Motor Transport Association and the Truckload Carrier Association (Refrigerated Division), the Alumni Board for the University of Utah College of Business and as a board member for the University of Utah Fundraising Committee. He is also active in his support of Intermountain Donor Services, American Cancer Society, and National Kidney Foundation.
Chief Executive Officer Chad England has been involved in the family business since the age of 14, working in nearly every department and continues to maintain his commercial driver's license. He has held numerous positions in the company including Driver Manager, Director of Operations Management, Vice President of Opportunity Leasing, Vice President of Recruiting, Training, and Safe Driving, President of England North America and Chief Operating Officer. Chad has been a driving force in C.R. England's growth and success. His leadership has had a major impact on safety performance, driver recruiting, cost control, operational efficiency, revenue growth, and service improvements.
Chad dedicates time to various efforts including the American Trucking Associations, Truckload Carriers Association, and the American Transportation Research Institute. He serves on the Executive Committee of the Utah Trucking Association and the Board of Governors for the Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce. In 2011, he was recognized by Utah Business magazine as one of Utah's "Top Forty Under 40". Heavy Duty Trucking magazine honored him with their annual "Truck Fleet Innovator" award in 2011. Mr. England is a graduate of the University of Utah (1998) with a degree in business management.
President and CFO Josh England was named C.R. England's Chief Financial Officer in January 2013. Previously, Josh was the President of England Logistics, a wholly owned subsidiary of C.R. England. England Logistics provides non-asset transportation solutions via road, rail, ocean and air and is among the largest and most diverse third-party logistics companies in the nation. During his tenure at England Logistics, he guided the company to above-market growth rates and returns. This led to recognition from groups like Utah Business magazine and Mountain West Capital Network, identifying the company as one of the top ten revenue generators and growth companies in Utah. Josh has an extensive background in the transportation industry, having served as Vice President of Independent Contractor Division, Controller of North American Division, and Manager of Freight Profitability for C.R. England.
Josh was a 2012 Utah Business magazine "Top Forty Under 40"award winner. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Salt Lake City Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank and the Advisory Board of U.S. Bank. He is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Utah with a degree in business management and received his MBA from the University of Notre Dame.
