SOLEDAD, Calif., Sept. 23, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- CRŪ Winery and their two tasting rooms remain open with no plans to close. Due to the recent announcement that Valley Farm Management will be closing at the end of the year, there has been some confusion about the status of CRŪ Winery. CRŪ Winery is a separate entity from Valley Farm Management and remains open for business as usual. Despite a decline in the overall wine market, CRŪ Winery's dedication to over-delivering on quality for price has led to double-digit growth year-over-year for the past six years with new markets opening both domestically and internationally. The winery also continues to see an increase in wine club members and traffic to both their tasting room locations.
CRŪ Winery CEO Nathan Stern says, "We are saddened to no longer be working directly with the Smith Family and Valley Farm Management but will continue to craft award-winning wines from the Smith & Lindley, Sarmento and Paraiso Vineyards in the Santa Lucia Highlands. Wine lovers can expect the same high-quality wines they know and love." CRŪ's winemaker Jose Reyes has been working with the teams farming these vineyards for many years to ensure a smooth transition and consistent quality for both trade and consumers.
The CRŪ Winery tasting room in Soledad is open Thursday – Sunday and their winery in the Central Valley is open daily. Reservations can be made at cruwinery.com.
