Crackle Launches Third Season Of 'FROM THE BASEMENT'

CULVER CITY, Calif., Aug. 9, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- FROM THE BASEMENT, the highly lauded music series from Grammy-winning record producer Nigel Godrich, will premiere its third season on Crackle today. As the exclusive online home to season 3 in the U.S., Crackle will bring the popular series featuring intimate performances from some of the biggest and most-respected names in the music industry to a larger audience.  The third season kicks off today with two episodes featuring The Shins, Aimee Mann and Father John Misty.

Crackle is the only service providing free, on demand viewing of the newest season of FROM THE BASEMENT where viewers experience intimate performances and up-close looks at popular recording artists. Beginning today, two new episodes from Season 3 will be added to Crackle monthly through January 2013, with the new season featuring performances from The Shins, Feist, Foster the People, Aimee Mann, Father John Misty, Delta Spirit, Moby, among others.
