BROOMFIELD, Colo., June 15, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- CraftWorks Restaurants & Breweries, Inc., the largest craft brewery restaurant operator in the country, announced today that its nearly 200 restaurants will fully transition to serving cage-free eggs by 2022. Its core brands -- Old Chicago Pizza & Taproom, Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurants, and Rock Bottom Restaurants & Breweries – are committed to making the transition to cage-free eggs over the next five years.

Based on growing consumer demand and industry trends, many restaurants are transitioning to cage-free eggs over the next decade. CraftWorks will work with suppliers to complete a 100 percent transition in its U.S. restaurants, which use approximately 2.5 million eggs a year.
