Disney CEO Josh D'Amaro to welcome creators to the Walt Disney Studios lot; President and Chief Creative Officer Dana Walden to deliver opening night remarks

BURBANK, Calif., Sept. 3, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Disney and creator Jon Youshaei announced additional speakers for Created in LA, adding Dude Perfect, The Try Guys, Jordan Matter, Adrian Per, Dhar Mann, and Oscar-winning Chief Creative Officer of Walt Disney Animation Studios Jared Bush to the lineup. The announcement also includes new programming details for Chief Marketing and Brand Officer of The Walt Disney Company Asad Ayaz. They join previously announced speakers including Zach King, AdamW, Jenny Hoyos and Sam Eckholm.

Created in LA will open on September 17 with a red-carpet premiere highlighted by the debut of an original video from Sticks on the El Capitan Theatre's big screen. Titled "The Technoblade Movie," the project serves as a tribute to one of the most beloved creators. Sticks is a filmmaking and digital creator duo with 1.2M in social reach that has emerged as a rising voice in the next generation of creator-led entertainment. The screening marks the first time in the theater's 100-year history that it will host a premiere of this kind.

Dana Walden, President and Chief Creative Officer of The Walt Disney Company, will kick off the creator premiere at the El Capitan Theatre on September 17. On September 18, Chief Executive Officer of The Walt Disney Company, Josh D'Amaro, will take the stage at the Walt Disney Studios lot, gathering storytellers at the place where Walt Disney's vision of creativity and innovation all started.
