Creative Recycling Systems of North Carolina Achieves e-Stewards® Certification

SEATTLE, Nov. 27, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Creative Recycling Systems (CRS), a leader in IT Asset Management and electronics recycling, announced today that their Raleigh, North Carolina facility has achieved the e-Stewards® Electronic Recycling Certification, a commitment to responsible recycling, environmental protection and international legal compliance.

e-Stewards is a globally accredited, third-party audited certification program developed by the Basel Action Network (BAN), with support from other environmental groups and industry leaders. CRS chose to pursue e-Stewards Certification because it is the only e-waste recycling standard that assures customers that no e-waste will be exported to developing countries, no toxic materials will end up in landfills or incinerators, and it stands as a global baseline for the protection of confidential data housed in electronic equipment.
