KINGSTON, N.J., June 25, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Cross Point Capital announces today that Gustav E. Escher III has recently joined the firm. Gus is a seasoned financial services professional with over 25 years of experience providing funding solutions, both debt and equity, to governmental and private-sector clients regarding renewable energy facilities, recycling plants, and similar projects. He is a licensed investment banker, and has closed transactions in 25 states across the country. Gus has worked as a municipal bond underwriter and/or financial consultant for local and state governments (and their agencies) as well as private entities such as developers and owners of the projects.
In public service, Mr. Escher has served as Redevelopment Director of the City of Trenton, Assistant Executive Director (Finance and Administration) of the NJ Housing Finance Agency and Vice Chair of the NJ Health Care Facilities Financing Authority (gubernatorial appointment). Mr. Escher holds a BA degree from Princeton University and a Masters of Architecture and Urban Planning, also from Princeton University.
