Crossmark's Steward Global Equity Income Fund Receives Two Lipper Awards

HOUSTON, Feb. 28, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Crossmark Global Investments, Inc. (Crossmark), a leading provider of responsible investment solutions, is pleased to announce that Thomson Reuters has awarded the Crossmark Steward Global Equity Income Fund (ticker: SGISX) (the "Fund") with Lipper Fund Awards for Best Global Equity Income Fund in both the three-year and five-year performance categories for the period ending 11/30/2017. This marks the fourth consecutive year in which the Fund has received a Lipper Award.

The Fund invests in domestic and international stocks that generate high and growing dividend income. It applies a proprietary set of values screens. Screens applied to the portfolio management process allow investors to avoid owning securities in companies that choose to profit from businesses that are at odds with values-based investing.  The Steward Screens exclude companies materially involved with alcohol, tobacco, gambling, life ethics, and mature content. The same screening process is applied to the five other values-based equity and fixed income funds that together constitute Crossmark's Steward Fund suite.  The Fund was selected for the three-year and five-year award from over 36 and 31 other equity funds, respectively. The other funds in the category are not screened for environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors, highlighting that investors do not need to sacrifice investment returns to align with their values.

The U.S. Lipper Fund Awards recognized the Crossmark Steward Global Equity Income Fund (the fund) on February 28^th, 2018 for delivering consistently strong risk-adjusted performance relative to its peers for the 3-year and 5-year period.
