Pope Francis is coming to Philadelphia for the World Meeting of Families from September 26-27, and the majority of events, including Sunday Mass, will be held along Ben Franklin Parkway. With over a million visitors expected in Philadelphia, Crown Castle is installing 37 small cell nodes around the Parkway connected with fiber optic cable leading to Crown Castle's hub. This network solution will be used to enable an enhanced wireless experience for visitors participating in the Pope's upcoming visit.

Crown Castle, AT&T and Verizon invite you on an exclusive tour of the new small cell nodes along the Ben Franklin Parkway that will enable crowds to stay connected during the Pope's visit as well as future events including the 2016 Democratic National Convention, Philadelphia Marathon and other concerts and festivals. The tour will provide a behind the scenes look at how Crown Castle has been working together with the City and major wireless carriers to make Pope's Francis's visit the most connected event in Philadelphia history. Following the site tour, attendees are invited to attend a reception at the Franklin Institute for a Q&A session with representatives from Crown Castle, AT&T and Verizon.
