MORRISTOWN, N.J., April 24, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The Women's Association for Morristown Medical Center is pleased to announce Crum & Forster as the Diamond Sponsor for the 18th Mansion in May Designer Showhouse and Gardens. The signature fundraiser will be held at Alnwick Hall - The Abbey and open to the public for touring from May 1 - May 31, 2017. Crum & Forster's generous donation will help fund the new Center for Nursing Innovation and Research, which will allow nurses to meet, exchange ideas and design solutions to existing and emerging health concerns.
"We are thrilled to have Crum & Forster as our Diamond Sponsor for Mansion in May 2017. Their vision and long-standing history as a premier insurance company correlates well to the longevity of the Women's Association for Morristown Medical Center," said Katie Nolle, General Co-Chair of Mansion in May 2017. Further, she states, "We welcome their generous sponsorship and are so grateful for their support of our cause to establish the Center for Nursing Innovation and Research for Morristown Medical Center."
Alnwick Hall - The Abbey, designed by New York architect Percy Griffin, was the country mansion to Edward Meany, an attorney and businessman and his wife, Rosalie Behr Meany. It remains as one of the last great estates situated along the stretch of Madison Avenue leading into Morristown, once known as "the finest four miles in the world." Visitors to this year's Mansion in May at Alnwick Hall-The Abbey will experience a newly transformed estate created by 45 interior and 17 landscape designers into a magnificent designer showhouse and gardens.
