CryoLife Appoints John Davis as Senior Vice President, Global Sales and Marketing

ATLANTA, Sept. 8, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- CryoLife, Inc. (NYSE: CRY), a leading medical device and tissue processing company focused on cardiac and vascular surgery, announced today the appointment of John Davis to the position of Senior Vice President, Global Sales and Marketing, effective September 8, 2015. Mr. Davis will have responsibility for CryoLife's sales and marketing teams and will report directly to Pat Mackin, Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer.

Mr. Davis has over 20 years of experience in Sales and Marketing and Executive Leadership. Prior to joining CryoLife, he served as Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing at CorMatrix, a private medical device company creating innovative biomaterial devices to repair damaged heart tissue. Prior to CorMatrix, he served as a Vice President in the Cardiac Rhythm Management Device business at St. Jude Medical from 2008 to 2012. Before St. Jude, he served 14 years with Medtronic in the Cardiac Rhythm Management division in senior sales leadership roles. In his early career he served with Roche Diagnostics and Ciba-Geigy Corporation. Mr. Davis received a Bachelor's degree from Western Carolina University.

CryoLife also announced that Bruce Anderson, Vice President, U.S. Sales and Global Marketing, and David Lang, Senior Vice President, International Sales and Marketing, have retired from their positions. Mr. Mackin added, "On behalf of the CryoLife team, I would like to thank Bruce and David for their dedication and contributions to the Company.
