Cryptocurrency Mining and Hashing Power Solutions Provider Teraport Mining Announces Plan to Assist Those Impacted by the $64 Million NiceHash Hack

DENVER, Dec. 11, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Teraport Mining announced that it will allow its excess hashing power to be used to mine for those that either lost their purchasing deposit or mining earnings as a result of the NiceHash hack last week.  The recent hack of over 4,700 BTC has left many miners and buyers with costs associated with working with NiceHash and no announced plan as of the time of this release to help them to recoup even a portion of their funds.  This latest negative event comes as the cryptocurrency world readies itself for its most mainstream opportunity to date as trading of the first U.S. Bitcoin futures began at 6 p.m. ET Sunday Dec. 10 on an exchange run by CBOE Global Markets Inc., while the CME Group Inc. plans to introduce its own Bitcoin futures within the next two weeks.
