The acquisition of emitel AG is the fourth such expansion for CSA in the European market following the acquisitions of INTRATest GmbH, a privately-held product testing business with strong focus on medical devices and laboratory equipment located in Gebenstorf, Switzerland,  mikes-testingpartners gmbh near Munich, Germany which certifies electric and electronic devices and systems for nearly all branches of industry, and the UK-based SIRA Test and Certification Limited (and three affiliated companies) a world leader in the conformity assessment solutions field specializing in the testing of safety equipment used in potentially explosive atmospheres.
