
CSUSM Launching New Course Conversational Football
SAN MARCOS, Calif., Aug. 5, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- California State University San Marcos is offering a conversational football course this fall that will assist anyone interested in learning the basics of football including rules, terminology, and phases of game, scoring methods, and basic game strategy. Participants will learn the various positions for offensive players, defensive players and kicking game players. As well as learn the rules of the game and how penalties are accepted and enforced by game officials. This course is designed as a lecture/laboratory combination with some portion of the course being conducted on a football field for demonstration purposes. This course will help anyone who wants to knowledgeably participate in the discussions about football.
Dates: August 10, 17, 24, & September 14.
Time: 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Location: California State University San Marcos
Fee: $149 (Cost for four-session course)
