CTL Adds Two Rugged Touchscreen Chromebooks to its Growing Education Chromebook Lineup

BEAVERTON, Ore., Aug. 29, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- CTL has announced two new touchscreen Chromebooks, the NL61T and NL61TX, which feature a 10-point capacitive touch screen for the many touch-enabled Chrome™ and Android™ (Android is a trademark of Google, Inc.) applications. At Google I/O this year, Google announced that Android App support will be coming to Chrome OS. CTL's release of these new touchscreen Chromebooks follows the recent launch the CTL NL61 Chromebook, one of CTL's most popular education Chromebooks. The CTL NL61T and NL61TX Chromebooks both feature an upgraded processor, the powerful Intel Braswell Quad Core N3160 (2.24 GHz 2MB Cache). With improved processing power, the NL61T and NL61TX boast up to 14 hours battery life.

The new CTL NL61T and NL61TX are rugged Chromebooks and will meet the need for touchscreen Chromebooks utilized in standardized testing such as Smarter Balanced.
