NEW YORK, April 6, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Cureatr, Inc., a leading healthcare coordination and communications company, announced today that Michael Ross, M.D. has joined its leadership team as Senior Clinical Advisor effective March 20, 2017.
Dr. Ross is a veteran of the healthcare and health information technology industries with over 25 years of experience serving in critical roles across clinical care and executive leadership of managed care organizations, integrated delivery systems, solutions vendors and analytic firms.
Dr. Ross will focus on driving the expansion of relationships with industry-leading hospitals and care centers as well as cultivating new strategic alliances with post-acute and long-term care providers. His leadership will play a pivotal role in supporting and shaping the company's product strategy as it continues to expand its technology and services.
As a Senior Clinical Advisor, Dr. Ross will play a key role in accelerating the growth of Cureatr's technology platform which offers actionable, real-time alerts that are triggered by diverse data and events, such as Care Transition Notifications (CTN). Cureatr is integrated with secure communication, care provider workflows, and provides analytics and insights for diverse teams that are distributed across institutions. He will also build upon Cureatr's proven success with communication across the care continuum within the delivery system reform incentive payment program (DSRIP) in New York.

Dr. Ross joins Cureatr after serving in senior leadership roles within multiple, successful healthcare information technology companies, including most recently RxAnte, where he built a network of nearly 30,000 providers for the RxEffect platform, a payer sponsored provider workflow solution, which delivered significant improvements in medication adherence. He previously served as Chief Medical Officer at NaviNet where he provided clinical direction and guidance to the teams developing solutions to assist healthcare organizations and providers to improve care delivery and quality. Prior to NaviNet, Dr. Ross served as Chief Medical Officer and Vice President of Business Development at Prematics and Vice President of Healthcare at Varolii Corp. During his clinical career, Dr. Ross managed one of the most successful pediatric practices in Washington D.C. and for three years was named one of the Top Doctors in Washington by Washingtonian magazine. Dr. Ross received his Bachelor of Science and medical degrees from George Washington University, and his Masters in Healthcare Administration from the Medical College of Virginia. He received his certification by the American Board of Pediatrics.
