Cvi Awarded U.S. Air Force Contract to Support Aircraft Maintenance at Tinker Air Force Base

PRINEVILLE, Ore., Oct. 12, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Cv International, Inc. (Cvi), has been awarded a U.S. Air Force contract to design, fabricate, test and install a comprehensive modular maintenance work stand system at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma. The project will support the 76th Aircraft Maintenance Group's Program Depot Maintenance mission, delivering advanced maintenance platform solutions that help accelerate aircraft servicing, improve mission-capable rates, and return aircraft to operational readiness faster.

For Cvi, this award brings together more than four decades of proven expertise in engineering, design, and advanced ground support equipment. From initial engineering and on-site field verification to precision fabrication, quality assurance, and comprehensive technical documentation, Cvi delivers the integrated capabilities needed to transform complex maintenance requirements into reliable, field proven solutions.

"This is the kind of project that brings all of Cvi's capabilities together," said Dan Warden, CEO of Cvi. "We understand that this isn't simply about building a stand. It's about creating equipment that fits into an existing maintenance environment, increases maintenance worker efficiency and supports the mission safely and effectively."

The new system will be compatible and interchangeable with existing maintenance stand sets, including the Conect/Crown and  Staircase Stands. The stand design will feature electrically powered height adjustment, recessed hardware and collapsible engine stand railings, along with integrated electrical power, compressed air and lighting throughout the stand.

A key part of Cvi's responsibility will be developing a complete technical data package for the system. Cvi will field-verify existing equipment and configurations and develop the engineering drawings, CAD models and manufacturing documentation necessary to support fabrication, assembly and future stand sets.

Cvi's proposal demonstrated the company's engineering and manufacturing qualifications, including Licensed Professional Engineer documentation, ISO 9001:2015 certification, AWS welding certifications and relevant past performance in aircraft maintenance stands and fall-protection equipment.

"We've built our reputation around solving real problems for people working in demanding environments," Warden said. "That means listening to the customer, understanding the mission and then engineering and building the right solution."

The depot maintenance program represents another important opportunity for Cvi to apply its aviation ground support expertise to a critical U.S. Air Force maintenance mission.

Cvi will perform the work in accordance with the contract requirements and its ISO 9001:2015-certified Quality Management System.
