Daily Small Cap Market Review - Top Five Stocks in Focus: GlobalStar, Inc. Terra Tech Corporation, mCig, Inc. Fannie Mae, James River Coal Company

GlobalStar (GSAT) traded heavily within the small cap markets going into the final trading session of the week slightly higher on the day and looking to get back to its resistance point set at the 52 week high of $2.84.  If we see shares break through that level on similar volume to what we have been seeing then this stock could break $3.00 to the upside.

James River Coal Co. (JRCC) which had a good day trading on NASDAQ lifting the stock by more than 23% on the day.  Considering James River closed at the high of the day on 6 times the normal daily volume it looks like a good possibility that shares will follow through to the upside in trading on Friday.

Mcig, Inc. (MCIG) one of the makers of the electronic cigarette which seems to be all the rage right now and in the news constantly moved lower to close trading yesterday.  Shares were off by 13.3% as we saw some profit taking on the street.  This stock has been on a strong run higher up to a recent high of $0.92 per share.

Terra Tech Corporation (TRTC) was another over the counter trade which finished lower on the day's trading going into Friday's session.  This name is likely to see heavy volume trading into next week also as it looks to get back to its recent high price of $1.42.  The trading range yesterday was between $0.66 - $0.86 and the volume was higher than average.

To round off our week in review shares in Fannie Mae (FNMA) continued to tick higher slowly but surely as traders anticipate this stock moving back to the $5.00 resistance level.  Fannie Mae closed lower by 2% in trading to close yesterday at a price of $4.00 and $43 million in volume.  The volume was a slight pick up on the previous day's trading.
