Dale Jarrett Racing Adventure Records Best First Quarter Since Inception

HICKORY, N.C., May 18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Dale Jarrett Racing Adventure, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: DJRT), a "Full Throttle" lifetime experience company, today released the results of its first quarter ending March 31st showing the best first quarter, by a wide margin, in the company's 11 year history.  The report is highlighted by a 34% increase in total revenues combined with a 55% increase in gross profits.  Additionally, the company reports an increase in profit margins of more than 37% along with an overall reduction in corporate General and Administrative expenses.

The company has never before reported first quarter losses of less than $100,000 yet succeeded in cutting its 2010 first quarter loss by 69% from $166,000 in 2009 to only $54,000.  This gives further justification for the company's projection that 2010 will see the company finish the year with solid positive earnings.  

The first quarter is understandably the slowest of the year.  It follows the year's strongest quarter with it's Christmas related sales, plus these three months are without any NASCAR events until the quarter is more than half over.  Additionally, January through March sees less than encouraging weather at many of its venues.  None-the-less, the Company has always viewed its first quarter results as a bellwether for the year ahead and, with this year's gains, is justified in expressing a significant optimism for FY 2010.
