Dallas Chiropractor Trains for Olympic Distance Triathlon to Help Raise Money and Awareness for Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS)

DALLAS, Feb. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Dr. H. Khayal, local prominent Chiropractor in Dallas, TX has joined the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training to prepare for his first ever Olympic Distance Triathlon being held in Maui, HI on June 13, 2010. He will take on the challenge of swimming 1500 meters, cycling 24.9 miles, and finish up by running 6.2 miles. This is all in an effort to help make a difference in the lives of an estimated 900,000 Americans who are living with and battling blood cancers.

Dr. Khayal has personally committed to raising nearly $6000.00+ in honor of his late maternal grandmother, who lost her long battle with leukemia, as well as all those affected by leukemia and lymphoma, and he is asking for everyone's help to make this goal a reality. Dr. Khayal will be racing as a proud member of the North Texas Team In Training as they compete against other teams from all over the United States. As a prelude to this big race, Dr. Khayal will also be competing in an earlier triathlon in Keller, TX on Sunday, March 14th.
