DALLAS, Nov. 1, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Dallas-based Kennedy, Clark & Williams, PC, a boutique law firm focused on intellectual property and corporate litigation, has added Keith McDole as Partner. With McDole's arrival, the firm has changed its name to McDole, Kennedy & Williams, PC (MKW).
McDole leaves mega-firm Jones Day to join MKW. His experience also includes Chicago law firm Kirkland & Ellis, where he was Partner, and Occidental Chemical Corporation, where he served as Vice President and General Counsel.
"Keith's experience in high-stakes commercial litigation is unparalleled," said Steve Kennedy, Founder and Partner at McDole, Kennedy & Williams. "And because he's served as corporate counsel for a large corporation, he brings expertise and a unique understanding of the specific litigation needs of corporate clients."
McDole has successfully tried cases and managed corporate litigation for nearly four decades, focusing on complex civil cases, including class actions, real estate, lender liability, antitrust and intellectual property cases.
"I was drawn to Kennedy, Clark & Williams' innovative approach of providing the quality legal representation one expects from the big firms, but at cost-effective billing rates and flexibility that only smaller firms can offer," said McDole. "I'm excited to help grow McDole, Kennedy & Williams into one of the leading corporate and intellectual property litigation firms in Dallas."
The firm anticipates an increase in staff to meet the demands of its larger client base.
"We have some of the hardest-working, most-respected IP litigators in the region. With Keith, we will add one of the most highly-regarded corporate litigators in the profession," said Kennedy. "Keith brings a wealth of trial experience covering federal securities, corporate governance, antitrust, unfair competition, lender liability, commercial contracts, toxic tort, bankruptcy, real estate, environmental law, employment discrimination, defamation and constitutional law."
McDole studied law at Northwestern University Law School, where he graduated cum laude and was an editor of the school's Law Review. He received his undergraduate political science degree from Hanover College in Hanover, Indiana. He has bar admissions in Texas and Illinois.
