Dan Rooney, Tulsa Magazine to Energize Execs in San Diego

TULSA, Okla., Jan. 25, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- PennWell Corp. — Tulsa-based Electric Light & Power magazine is inviting credentialed members of the media to attend the Electric Light & Power Executive Conference on Jan. 30 and 31 at the Omni San Diego Hotel. One of the keynote speakers will be Green Country's finest, F-16 pilot and founder of the Folds of Honor Foundation and Patriot Golf Day Maj. Dan Rooney.

Pierre-Luc Desgagne of Hydro-Quebec, the world's largest hydroelectric power producer, will accept the 2010 Utility of the Year award. Ann D. Murtlow, president and CEO of Indianapolis Power & Light Co, will receive the large utility CEO of the Year award. Larry Doran, president and CEO of Peterborough Utilities Group in Ontario, Canada, will accept the small utility CEO of the Year award.
