DataPath® Completes Successful Deployment of MaxView® Enterprise™

ATLANTA, April 18, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- DataPath, Inc., a leading provider of remote field communications and information technology solutions to the aerospace, government, broadcast, and infrastructure markets announced today the successful completion of its first installation of MaxView® Enterprise™, a major upgrade of the company's broadly deployed network monitoring and control software.  Since launching the re-architected software suite last fall, DataPath has worked closely with North American digital signage company Convergent Media Systems as its initial customer. 

For more than 35 years, Convergent has worked in the satellite business television industry, serving diverse Fortune 500 and federal government clients.  By providing turnkey broadcast television network solutions, Convergent enables its customers to concentrate on creating training and promotional content without worrying about whether their broadcast links are functioning.  In order to ensure customers' uplink facilities are fully operational, Convergent has utilized previous generations of MaxView for many years to monitor and control transmission equipment at each site.

Convergent's ongoing system evaluations identified areas in its Network Operations Center (NOC) environment where additional application enhancements would improve monitoring capabilities.  Working with DataPath, Convergent recognized that the MaxView Enterprise application provides a valuable upgrade to its existing capabilities within the NOC.  MaxView Enterprise's web interface extends device management within the entire network easily across all Convergent NOC specialists.  Revamped and enriched reporting capabilities allow Convergent to quickly analyze uptime along with proactively addressing any potential service issues.  Overall, the MaxView Enterprise solution empowers Convergent's ongoing mission of making its customers their top priority.
