DAVACO Announces Wayne Denton as Director of Human Resources

DALLAS, June 1 /PRNewswire/ -- DAVACO, Inc. (www.davacoinc.com), the national leading provider of retail services, recently announced that Wayne Denton has been named the director of human resources. In this role, he is responsible for all human resources functions, including recruiting, benefit and insurance programs, and the administration of all employee policies and procedures across the company. He reports to Gerry Geddis, president and COO of DAVACO.

Denton joins DAVACO with over 30 years of strategic and tactical experience in all human resources functions, both domestically and internationally. Denton was previously employed with PIN Manufacturing and MedSynergies, both of Dallas, where he was vice president of human resources.  He developed strategic recruiting plans that resulted in substantial growth for both companies, while establishing training and developmental programs. He also brings previous retail experience to the company from working with Kroger and Alliance Data, formerly a subsidiary of Limited Brands.

Denton received a Bachelor of Science in human resource management from Oklahoma State University. In addition, he is a certified Senior Professional HR Executive (SPHR) and has completed certifications from the Center for Creative Leadership and the Covey Institute in Leadership Development for HR Professionals and HR Strategy Development, and Principled Centered Leadership.
