Donald Hoffman Reacquires Ownership of EXCEL Services Corporation

ROCKVILLE, Md. and HOUSTON, July 16, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Excel Services Corporation ("Excel") and Pelican Energy Partners ("Pelican") are pleased to announce that Donald Hoffman, founder, President and CEO of Excel, has reacquired full ownership of Excel. In December 2023, Pelican invested in Excel to support the company's ability to serve its clients with an eye toward integrating Excel's capabilities with the capabilities of other companies in which it has invested. Over the past eighteen months, both parties have worked together in support of those goals and have achieved significant change at Excel.

As the company enters its next phase of growth, the parties have concluded that Excel is best positioned to capture market share as an independent consultancy and services business rather than by integrating with other product and service offerings. As a result, Pelican has sold its equity interest to Mr. Hoffman, effective July 1^st. Mr. Hoffman will continue to lead the company.
