DALLAS, Jan. 30, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- DeWolff, Boberg & Associates (DB&A), a global management consulting firm based in Dallas, Texas, is excited that Tisha Langford has joined its corporate team. Langford started her career at DB&A in the final quarter of 2014. Langford earned a B.S. in Human Resources and an M.B.A. with an emphasis in Finance and Accounting. She holds a Six Sigma Green Belt Certification. Langford also obtained an Executive Certificate after completing the Advanced Executive Management Curriculum at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
"We are fortunate to add Tisha to the DB&A team. In addition to her record of professional success, she brings a passion for understanding employees and supporting them in their careers," said Morgan Buffington, V.P. of Finance and Administration.
Prior to joining DB&A, Langford was an Executive Consultant with Fleyshman & Associates, LLC. Simultaneously, she consulted for Cummins Diesel Engine Company where she had previously served as Executive Director of Human Resources for almost ten years. Langford also has operations management experience with Deutsche Lufthansa AG.
Langford's work at DB&A will encompass three broad areas: employee engagement, advocacy and succession planning. In the short time since she has started, Langford has visited almost all project sites and has formally met with each employee to build rapport and strengthen relationships. Langford is also focused on ensuring that a Management Consultant's transition process from project to project is consistently supported and executed.
"There is little opportunity for future success without succession," stated Langford. "I am most excited about helping identify and develop future leaders whose growth and progression is supported by all levels of DB&A."
Langford's work ethic perfectly fits into DB&A's culture of selfless work. She lives by the philosophy of "If you haven't done anything that matters to someone other than yourself, then you haven't done anything that matters!"
