DCS-Millennium Joint Venture Selected for US Army RDECOM CERDEC Night Vision and Electronic Sensors Directorate (NVESD) Warrior Enabling Broad Sensor (WEBS) Contract

ALEXANDRIA, Va., May 8, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- DCS-Millennium LLC, a joint venture between DCS Corp and Millennium Corporation, has been selected as one of six prime contractors by the US Army Research, Development, and Engineering Command (RDECOM) Communications Electronics Research, Development, and Engineering Center (CERDEC) Night Vision and Electronic Sensors Directorate (NVESD) to provide engineering support and technology assistance.  The Warrior Enabling Broad Sensor (WEBS) support contract, totaling $1.78B, will provide sensor technology engineering, administrative and operations support, field technology assistance, test and evaluation, and engineering support and services for night vision and electronic sensors systems. WEBS is an ID/IQ multiple-award vehicle with a performance period of five years.

DCS and Millennium formed the joint venture specifically to maintain DCS's long-standing relationship with US Army RDECOM CERDEC NVESD and pursue continued work under the WEBS contract vehicle. The primary organizations and technology areas supported under WEBS include each of the US Army RDECOM CERDEC NVESD Divisions, R&D, engineering, weapon system integration, infrastructure development and support, modeling and simulation, and purchased services across all US Army RDECOM CERDEC NVESD organizations.
