DCT Industrial Trust Inc.(R) to Acquire Bulk Distribution Property in New Jersey

DENVER, March 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- DCT Industrial Trust Inc. ® (NYSE: DCT), a leading industrial real estate company, today announced it has agreed to acquire a modern, Class A bulk distribution property in Sayreville, New Jersey.  The building totals 150,000 square feet and increases DCT Industrial's portfolio within New Jersey, one of the largest industrial markets in the country, to nine buildings totaling 1.1 million square feet.

The building is located within the Route 287/New Jersey Turnpike Exit 10 submarket at 400 Kennedy Drive in the Sayreville Business Park.  The facility provides immediate access to major highways, distribution routes, three major airports and the Port of New York and New Jersey.  The building is 100% leased to three tenants with long-term leases.

The closing of the acquisition is subject to normal and customary closing conditions and is expected to occur in the second quarter of 2010.
