The deal will be available online at DealChicken.com/detroit-mi beginning Friday, September 2, 2011 through Monday, September 5, 2011. In addition, two lucky fans will win a pair of tickets to the UM vs. MSU game on October 15th, 2011 in East Lansing, MI.
People can enter to win tickets to the UM/MSU game on the DealChicken Detroit Facebook page
(facebook.com/DealChickenDetroit) by midnight on Monday, September 5th. Participants can earn additional entries by clicking "Like" on both the Fanatic U and DealChicken Detroit Facebook pages. Two winners will be selected the following Tuesday, September 6th, 2011. Participation in the contest does not require purchase of the deal.
The four-day online event will pit UM and MSU fans against each other for a lighthearted rivalry to show off which team has the most fanatic fans. Individuals who purchase the deal will be asked to choose "Go Blue" or "Go Green," but the vouchers can be redeemed for any sports team merchandise. In true rivalry spirit, updates on which team is leading in deals sold will be posted on Twitter (@detchicken) and on the DealChicken Detroit Facebook page throughout the weekend. People are also encouraged to share pictures in their maize and blue or green and white gear on the DealChicken Detroit Facebook page.
