ALTOONA, Pa., March 13, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Delta Health Technologies®, the leading provider of innovative workflow solutions for clinical, billing and business management for the home health, hospice and private duty industry, announced today that it has successfully participated in the National ICD-10 Test Week hosted by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). CMS accepted 100 percent of the test claims that Delta Health Technologies ® submitted through multiple payers and clearinghouses throughout the week. This is the first step in ICD-10 readiness for home health and hospice providers for the October 1, 2014 compliance date.
"We understand that the entire healthcare industry is going through a massive transition to meet the regulatory demands of ICD-10. We are proactively participating in panel discussions on the national stage during conference events and expanding our testing with customers in addition to participation in the CMS test period last week. The result is that our customers will be fully confident in our preparedness for the upcoming changes," said Josh Keely, Vice President Product Development. "The acknowledgment by CMS validates our ICD-10 readiness."
Delta Health Technologies® will continue its customer education program, which includes a series of webinars and readiness materials. In addition, the Delta Health Technologies National Customer Forum event in September 2014 will include specific course tracks for planning and testing for ICD-10. The National Customer Forum will assist customers with adapting to the changes to ensure ease with the new code sets and be prepared for any workflow changes.
Delta Health Technologies® will continue to test with payers, clearinghouses and State Medicaid programs according to the CMS guidelines.
