Deluxe Announces Early Acceptance of Cash Tender Offer for its 5.00% Senior Notes Due 2012

ST. PAUL, Minn., March 14, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Deluxe Corporation (NYSE: DLX) today announced that it has exercised its early purchase option and has accepted for purchase all of the $192,996,000 aggregate principal amount of its outstanding 5.00% Senior Notes due 2012 (the "Notes") tendered and not validly withdrawn at or prior to 5:00 p.m., New York City time, on March 11, 2011 pursuant to the Company's previously announced tender offer. Payment for the Notes purchased is expected to be made on or about March 15, 2011.

The total consideration to be paid for each $1,000 principal amount of Notes validly tendered, not validly withdrawn and accepted for purchase is $1,045. In addition, holders whose Notes are purchased in the tender offer will receive accrued and unpaid interest in respect of their purchased Notes from the most recent interest payment date to, but not including, the applicable payment date for the Notes.

The tender offer and the Company's previously announced concurrent consent solicitation are being made pursuant to the Offer to Purchase and Consent Solicitation Statement, dated February 22, 2011, and the related Consent and Letter of Transmittal (together, the "Offer Documents").
