Demeure Resumes Travel for Ultimate Escapes Members in Time for Thanksgiving
WATERLOO, Ontario, Nov. 12, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Demeure, a next generation travel community through which members access the world's finest vacation homes at discounted rates and without costly membership capital contributions or deposits, today announced that an emergency motion was filed earlier this week with the Bankruptcy Court in Delaware to reinstate travel for members of the defunct Ultimate Escapes Destination Club ahead of schedule and in time for the holidays. With the consent of the major parties in the bankruptcy, the Court is expected to enter an order on an expedited basis in order to permit UE members who join Demeure to travel in time for Thanksgiving.

When it became clear that in the wake of the UE bankruptcy many members had made alternate travel arrangements for the end of 2010 and the beginning of 2011, Demeure added more flexibility for the start date for commencement of its travel year. For other UE members who found themselves in a difficult spot – with airline tickets in hand and no villa to accommodate them, Demeure worked to salvage their plans.
