DentaQuest Board Of Directors Appoints Steven Pollock As New President And CEO

BOSTON, April 1, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- DentaQuest today announced that Steven Pollock has been appointed as the company's new president and chief executive officer (CEO) effective April 1, 2015. Pollock, who previously served as DentaQuest's chief operating officer (COO), will replace Fay Donohue, who announced in October 2014 that she would be retiring after twenty years of leading the company through a period of tremendous growth and success.

Shortly after Donohue announced her plans to retire, DentaQuest assembled a search committee. After completing a comprehensive search process and narrowing down the list of candidates to a handful of finalists, the committee identified Pollock as the ideal candidate. The full DentaQuest board of directors formally endorsed that recommendation.  

Pollock came to DentaQuest in 1999 and served in a number of senior positions before being appointed as COO in 2011. As COO, he has responsibility for all business segments of DentaQuest, leading the company's growth in an evolving and complex health care market during the implementation of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.

Pollock earned a B.B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and a J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School, and he is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin and a certified public accountant in Ohio. Pollock resides in Concord, Mass., with his wife and two children.
