Nandini (Nan) Nayak is a senior executive and thought leader for Fjord, Accenture Interactive's Service Design and Innovation Studio. Nan has spent much of her career on the creation of high performing digital experiences, championing an analytical approach to design. She is passionate about the need to bring data and design disciplines closer together to drive innovation and value out of big data.
Building on Accenture's previously released report, The Era of Living Services, Nandini will discuss how Living Services are a step beyond the limited descriptor, 'Internet of Things'. While IoT is enabling the "digitization of everything" by creating a vast network of connected machines and objects, Living Services will utilize the connected environment to fundamentally transform the way we live and work. Nandini's presentation, "The Promise of IoT: The Era of Living Services" will look at the effect Living Services will have on most aspects of our lives – from our homes, finances and workplaces; to our health, shopping and the future of travel.
