DALLAS, Oct. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Rangers' fans across North Texas are celebrating the recent victories over the New York Yankees.  With only one game standing between the Rangers and a trip to the World Series, the Travel and Adventure Show wants to celebrate the journey and wish the team luck by offering the entire Metroplex free tickets to their premier show October 23 and 24 at the Dallas Convention Center.  To obtain the free tickets, fans can visit the Web site and use the promo code TXR.  (And in the spirit of Texas hospitality, even Yankees fans are welcome to free tickets.)

Although there's no batting cage, the Travel and Adventure Show will provide family-friendly fun with a variety of activities sampling adventures across the globe. From celebrity speakers like travel legend Arthur Frommer to free activities like scuba diving in an 18,000 gallon heated tank, zip-lining 30 feet above the show floor, rock climbing and camel rides, from exotic destinations to a weekend getaway, the Travel and Adventure Show is a vacation in itself.

The show opens Saturday, October 23, from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sunday, October 24, from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. (The show opens 9:30 a.m. Saturday for travel professionals.) The Travel and Adventure Show is presented by the Dallas Morning News. The national magazine sponsor is Budget Travel.
