FERNDALE, Mich., April 15, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Detroit Elevator Company, in response to increasing consumer demand, has announced the expansion of their residential elevator business.
Over the past few years, home elevators have become more and more popular and shown to increase a home's value while adding an attractive new feature. As a result, Detroit Elevator Company has reorganized its staff to address the increase in residential business.
"Detroit Elevator Company has been building, installing and servicing residential elevators in Michigan for 100 years now, but there really wasn't that great of a demand until recently," said Don Purdie, Jr., Vice President, Detroit Elevator Company. The company recently expanded the Residential Elevator section of their website and is offering custom service plans to address individual homeowner's needs and budgets.
"Whether by choice, or in response to an unexpected mobility challenge, families need and deserve an in-house elevator that matches their home, functions correctly and most importantly, is reliable. With Detroit Elevator it will be," added Purdie.
