Diamond Jim Land Auctions Sets Absolute Auction of 83 Subdivision Lots, Including 53 Absolute, in Cortez, Colorado
CORTEZ, Colo., Sept 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Diamond Jim Land Auctions LLC [www.diamondjimlandauctions.com] announces the auction of 83 residential building lots on Saturday, October 2, at 10am, in Cortez, Co., according to Julie Suckla, associate broker.
"These are partially developed and undeveloped lots," explained Suckla. "We have a total of 83 lots, 53 of which will sell absolute to the highest bidder. This is an excellent investment opportunity in a prime Southwest Colorado location."
The lots range in size from one-third of an acre up to one acre. They are single family residential lots - 21 of which are improved with paved roads, water, electrical service and gas. In addition, two blocks of developed lots are zoned for town homes.
The Brandon's Gate subdivision is a new community that sits within Cortez's city limits on the edge of the rural, agricultural countryside. "This quiet neighborhood is nestled within minutes of the city's first-class recreation center, 160 acres of parks, library and hospital."
Larger plots of land border the subdivision on the north with Highway 145 to the East, leading to McPhee Reservoir and Recreation area and the towns of Dolores, Rico and Telluride. Snow ski in the mountains in the morning and water ski in the afternoon at McPhee. It's only 10 miles to the 2 million acre San Juan National Forest. Extensive bike trails are within minutes.
"The Conquistador Golf Course and Elks Lodge are practically at your fingertips here, with the golf course only half a mile away" said Suckla. "Cortez offers a variety of shopping and entertainment with Mesa Verde National Park on the southern horizon."
The auction will be held off-site at the Elks Lodge, 2100 North Dolores Road. The auction is open to the public. Bidders must register prior to bidding and are encouraged to do their due diligence. Live online bidding for those who cannot attend in person will be provided at www.proxibid.com/diamondjim.
