Dickies Expands Enhanced Visibility Offering

FORT WORTH, Texas, Jan. 11, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Leading global work wear brand Dickies is expanding its enhanced visibility (E-Vis) garment offering from five stocked products to more than 400 unique combinations of safety-focused occupational wear.  The expansion allows workers in high-traffic areas and heavy-equipment zones to customize virtually any Dickies garment by adding E-Vis reflective striping in 18 predetermined locations. The offering launched Jan. 1.

Dickies E-Vis is constructed from 3M™ Scotchlite™ Reflective Tape that provides enhanced visibility in daylight, nighttime and low-light conditions. Color combinations consist of silver, orange/silver and lime/silver available in 1-inch, 1.5-inch, 2-inch and 2.5-inch tape widths. The six 3M tape options can be applied to garments in 18 predetermined locations.

The announcement of the E-Vis solution adds to the breadth of products and service options available through the new occupational wear service model unveiled by Dickies in 2011.
