NEW YORK, July 25, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- TRAFFIQ®, the digital media workflow platform, today announced that experienced digital product and program manager Ratha Grimes has joined the TRAFFIQ Product Development team as Director of Product Management.
Based out of Seattle, Wash., Grimes will lead the ongoing technical development of TRAFFIQ's digital media buying solution and steer the platform's technical direction with leading-edge technology development that anticipates market needs and delivers next-generation solutions for agencies and publishers.
Grimes brings more than ten years of online advertising technology experience to TRAFFIQ, having served at Google, Microsoft, Bluestreak and others throughout her career. At Microsoft, Grimes was a key member of an elite team chartered to build a next generation exchange version of AdECN, Microsoft's online advertising exchange. In her role as program manager, she directed the complete creation of a new ad exchange product, including guiding the vision, designing the interfaces and authoring functional specifications. In conjunction, she also designed and directed the implementation of an innovative simulation of the exchange to predict the revenue generation potential of the platform and demonstrate business value before proceeding with full development.
As a software design engineer on the Microsoft adCenter Display Ads Platform, she invented prototypes to integrate the Display Ad Platform into other products with supporting documentation and patent predisclosures, while aggressively pursuing integration opportunities across the Microsoft product portfolio. She also played an instrumental co-creator role in the initial design and implementation of the offline ad-serving system SDK to enable ad-funded software.
At TRAFFIQ, Grimes will report to Vice President of Product Management Bridget Bidlack, who recognized the important role Grimes' experience and vision will play in the future of the TRAFFIQ platform.
