Digital Realty Commences Offering Of Guaranteed Notes

SAN FRANCISCO, March 27, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Digital Realty Trust, Inc. (the "Company") (NYSE: DLR) today announced that Digital Stout Holding, LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of its operating partnership, Digital Realty Trust, L.P. (the "Operating Partnership"), has commenced a private placement, subject to market conditions, of its pounds sterling-denominated Guaranteed Notes due 2023 (the "Notes").  The Notes will be senior unsecured obligations of Digital Stout Holding, LLC and will be fully and unconditionally guaranteed by the Company and the Operating Partnership.  The interest rate and offering price are to be determined by negotiations between the Digital Stout Holding, LLC and the managers of the offering.

The Company intends to use the net proceeds from the offering of the Notes to temporarily repay borrowings under its global revolving credit facility, to acquire additional properties, to fund development opportunities, for general working capital purposes or a combination of the foregoing.     

The Notes will be offered only outside the United States in reliance on Regulation S under the U.S. Securities Act of 1933, as amended (the "Securities Act").
