AUSTIN, Texas, June 29, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Digital Turbine, Inc. (Nasdaq: APPS), the Company empowering operators and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) around the globe with end-to-end mobile solutions, announced that it has been added to the Russell 3000® and Russell Global® Indexes. Each June, Russell realigns its family of global equity indexes to reflect market changes in the past year.
Annual Russell indexes reconstitution captures the 4,000 largest U.S. stocks as of the end of May, ranking them by total market capitalization. Membership in the Russell 3000 remains in place for one year and means automatic inclusion in the appropriate growth and value style indexes. Membership in the Russell Global Index, which also remains in place for one year, means automatic inclusion in the appropriate cap index as well as the applicable style, sector and country indexes. FTSE Russell determines membership for its Russell indexes primarily by objective, market-capitalization rankings and style attributes.
"Digital Turbine's inclusion in the Russell Indexes is an important milestone for our Company as we continue to execute our global growth strategy delivering the right app to the right customer at the right time," said Bill Stone, CEO. "We believe our inclusion will create additional investor visibility and support the broadening of our shareholder base."
