DigitalRoute Receives Two Nominations for 2014 Pipeline Innovation Awards
STOCKHOLM, March 26, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --
DigitalRoute, the leading provider of new approaches to Big Data management, today announced that it has been nominated in two categories for the 2014 Pipeline Innovation Awards. The awards recognize prominent industry innovators as selected by key executives from top service providers, influential industry analysts and the editors of Pipeline, the world's leading communications and entertainment technology (COMET) magazine.
DigitalRoute has been nominated along with key partner SAP in the category of Innovation in Big Data and Analytics. It has also been nominated for the Editor's Choice award. Winners of these prestigious prizes are announced at TM Forum Live (formerly Management World) on Sunday, June 1, 2014 in Nice, France.
For the Innovation in Big Data and Analytics award, DigitalRoute and SAP showcased their recently announced significant partnership expansion. The result of this expansion is an enhanced solution that brings together data from both operational and business support systems (OSS and BSS), providing unique holistic insights in real time that help communications service providers (CSPs) navigate toward monetizing their Big Data in today's stormy market conditions.
The category recognizes progress in the collection, storage, management, and analysis of Big Data. For CSPs it has historically been challenging to create a bridge between data stored in OSS and BSS systems and, as a result, they have relied on incomplete information when engaging with customers. Connecting these two key data stores makes it possible to give carriers a more complete view of customers' experiences and interactions, and could be the basis of insight that helps to reduce churn, create more successful service offerings and drive deeper customer satisfaction.
By pairing SAP Convergent Mediation by DigitalRoute with SAP's HANA database and InfiniteInsight® analytics solution by KXEN, CSPs can focus on customer experience and loyalty in order to secure future margins and maintain profitability. This is critical. In a recent survey by SAP more than half of the respondents found critical competitive gaps to be in their availability of data rather than in their analytics tools meaning that while they had sophisticated analysis capacity, they couldn't exploit it due to a failure to load powerful databases due to the poor quality of inbound, inadequately refined data. SAP Convergent Mediation by DigitalRoute provides a mediation layer to solve this problem. You can learn more about it here: http://www.digitalroute.com/index.php/partners/sap
DigitalRoute's nomination for the Editor's Choice award reflects another outstanding year for the company. In 2014, DigitalRoute's client base increased to over 300 customer implementations, the company was profitable for the eighth consecutive year, it continued to serve Tier 1 customers in North America, Europe, Africa and APAC and won new customers in every region in which it is active.
"We are delighted to be chosen as a finalist for these two prestigious awards," said Johan Bergh, CEO of DigitalRoute. "This recognition continues to make clear the value in our unique approach to data management and processing, both for our partners and end customers."
The Pipeline Innovation Awards 2014 are being judged by an independent panel that includes Susan McNeice, president of analysis firm SMI, Jason Cook, Chief Architect & CTO, Consumer Packaged Goods and US & Canada BT Global Services, and Mobeen Kahn, CMO, Advanced Mobility Solutions at AT&T as well as members of the Pipeline editorial team.
