INDIANAPOLIS, Jan. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Indianapolis-based pricing software developer Digonex Technologies, Inc., today announced that that the Cleveland Cavaliers will be the first sports franchise to leverage its Sports & Entertainment Analytical Ticketing System (SEATS), which was launched in November 2009.
While sports teams and franchises have traditionally used a tiered-pricing structure, which is set at the beginning of a season, unexpected factors throughout the season are causing teams and franchises to evaluate alternative ticket pricing structures and technologies that enable them to demonstrate their commitment to the fans.
SEATS is a fully automated commerce engine that analyzes sales data and provides price suggestions based upon econometric and behavioral principles. SEATS takes a customizable approach, making use of dozens of parameters to evaluate ticket sales and offer price recommendations.
