Diligent Consulting, Inc. appoints new Director of Hill AFB Operations
SAN ANTONIO, Oct. 28, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Diligent announces the appointment of Brian K. Wilhoite, PMP, as Director of Hill Air Force Base Operations. Mr. Wilhoite will be responsible for opening a local Diligent office in Ogden, Utah; managing Diligent's current Hill AFB programs; and the pursuit of strategic new business opportunities.

Prior to joining Diligent, Mr. Wilhoite provided assistance to the 309th Software Maintenance Group (SMXG) at Hill AFB for almost a decade, managing a diverse staff of system, development and test engineers, as well as data and process managers. Areas of support include unique ACAT 1 software development responsibilities, A-10 Operational Flight Program avionics and weapons software baseline development and sustainment, Mission Planning System Support, along with Automated Test Equipment and hardware integration activities. Mr. Wilhoite was also Operations Manager for the Expeditionary Fighting Vehicle Software Development Team, operating in a CMMI Level 5-assessed process environment.
Before joining industry in 2007, Mr. Wilhoite served 22 years in the United States Marine Corps. He was a coded acquisitions officer, serving as head of the Expeditionary Requirements Branch. His responsibilities included multiple ACAT 1 programs of both Marine Corps and Naval in nature – ranging from Naval Surface Fire Support, to large deck Amphibious Ship Architecture, to support craft, assault craft and Mine Warfare platforms. He was Deputy Director of the Expeditionary Warfare School, Head of the Joint/Marine Air Ground Task Force Integration Group, Head of the Operational Assessment team for First Marine Expeditionary Force in Al Anbar Province, Iraq, an honor graduate of the Marines Corps Expeditionary Warfare School and a graduate of the Marine Corps Command and General Staff College.
