The Best and Brightest in Wellness celebrates companies that are making their businesses, employees, and communities healthier. The Best and Brightest programs provide yearlong education, benchmarking, assessment tools, and interaction amongst the best employers throughout Michigan.

Evaluation criteria included the following categories:

• Culture and environment
• Employee input
• Leadership
• Benefits and programs
• Participation and incentives
• Outcomes, analysis, and tracking

Diplomat scored a perfect 10 in culture and environment; employee input; leadership; benefits and programs; and outcomes, analysis, and tracking, while the regional average score in those areas was eight. Diplomat scored a 9.8 overall. The regional average overall score was 8.
