Direct Dispatch Purchases Bill of Lading Software

BOCA RATON, Fla., April 14, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Direct Dispatch initiated its planned launch of a suite of trucker services with the acquisition of the suite's cornerstone program.  Direct Dispatch acquired exclusive ownership of Desert Skies' digital bill of lading app.  Terms of the deal were not announced.

Direct Dispatch commissioned further development to provide auto fill capability for transports sourced from Direct Dispatch.  The bill of lading app is also undergoing customization for branding and user experience enhancement.  Direct Dispatch plans to commence commercialization of the app in June 2017.  

Direct Dispatch CEO Junior Alexis observed the following:

"The acquisition of this app has saved us three to four months of development time and expense.  This app is the first in a suite of trucker services designed to make their jobs easier, help them to keep better records, and maximize their profit per trip."  

Truckers will be able to generate bills of lading for all vehicles, regardless of their source, from any mobile device.  The bill of lading app will walk the user through the required pictures and descriptions.  The app stores the information in a secure cloud based server.  In the event of a consumer claim for damages, the trucker will have an easily retrievable file identifying a vehicle's pre-transport condition.  Future upgrades will add QuickBooks compatibility.

Direct Dispatch has announced a price of 89 cents per vehicle.  Discounts are available for volume users.
