MOBILE, Ala., Jan. 15, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Parents and community leaders from across Alabama are hosting a panel discussion about the future of school choice and public education in Alabama. The event will take place on Thursday, Jan. 17 at 11 a.m. at the Moorer/Spring Hill Branch Library: Thomas Hamilton Meeting Room.

This celebration coincides with the history-making celebration of National School Choice Week 2019, which will feature more than 40,000 school choice events across all 50 states.
"Virtual education has been so helpful for my children and it wouldn't have been possible without a strong school choice voice throughout Alabama. I look forward to discussing virtual education, school choice, and the future of education with PSO and NSCW in Mobile," said Wei Barr, parent.
The event is open to media and public.
As a nonpartisan, nonpolitical public awareness effort, National School Choice Week shines a positive spotlight on effective education options for students, families, and communities around the country.
